Yes. Your content does not have to be only about NIAT. You can create content around your niche, interests, experiences, skills, lifestyle, education, entertainment, etc. However, certain content guidelines apply to keep the SPARK community safe.
Does every video have to mention NIAT?
No. You can create content based on your own niche and interests. However, specific SPARK challenges or briefs may have their own content requirements. Always follow the brief given for that challenge.
How many videos do I need to create every week?
You are expected to create 2 short-form videos and 1 long-form video every week. This weekly consistency is an important part of SPARK.
What do I get points for?
Points can come from consistency, content performance, creativity, audience growth, participation, challenges, collaborations, revenue and other eligible SPARK activities. Your content performance is based on metrics such as views and engagement.
Will creativity matter, or are points only based on views?
Creativity matters. SPARK is not only about uploading videos or getting views. Original ideas, storytelling, creativity and quality of content matter too. Simple edits with only music, transitions or basic footage and no meaningful creative input should not be treated as strong content.
Do I get points just for participating in a challenge?
Yes. Participation points are given for eligible SPARK challenges, while additional points may be awarded based on how well your entry performs or ranks according to that challenge’s criteria.
Where do I submit my weekly content and SPARK Challenge entry?
Weekly content and all challenge entries must be submitted through the SPARK website submission link. Make sure you follow the specific instructions and deadline mentioned for each challenge.
Can I do brand collaborations during SPARK?
Yes. Eligible paid, barter, affiliate and other verified creator collaborations can contribute to SPARK points, subject to the program’s verification rules.
What counts as revenue?
Eligible revenue can include paid brand collaborations, affiliate and platform monetization, provided the earnings can be verified.
Does a barter collaboration count as revenue?
No. A barter/product-only collaboration can earn you SPARK points, but the value of the free product or service does not count as cash revenue toward the SPARK/GRIT revenue target. Only verified cash revenue counts toward the revenue path.
